The new OLED version of iPhone the iPhone 8 will be delayed until the next year. This is the opinion of a number of analysts, to which Deutsche Bank has joined this week. Similar forecasts were also predicted by KGI analysts.
The reason for the delay lies in manufacturing problems that will force Apple to drop out the iPhone 8 this year. “The main reason for the production delays, including the custom OLED display, the A11 10nm chip, the new 3D Touch module and the 3D sensing cameras.”
The insufficient number of components and technical difficulties are just some of the reasons for the postponed premiere. The company will present only the updated iPhone 7S and 7S Plus with LCD screens, analysts are convinced.
The OLED version is expected to reveal a completely new design with glass hull, 3D cameras, updated 3D Touch. If we believe the rumors, Apple will give up on the physical home button as well.
