Xiaomi’s new smartphone, codenamed Chiron, once again appeared in a benchmark test. This time the device flashed into the GFXBench database. Xiaomi Chiron will be a premium smartphone that will slightly differ from Mi Mix 2 in some aspects.
One of the main difference will be the display. Chiron is expected to have a 5.6-inch screen with a 1920 by 1080 pixels with a standard 16: 9 ratio. The Mi Mix has a 5.9-inch FHD + display with an 18: 9 aspect ratio.
The new phone will also feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, accompanied by 6 GB of RAM. The main storage memory will be equivalent to 256 GB. It’s currently unclear whether its storage space is expandable by a secondary SIM card slot.
The new Xiaomi phone will have a 12-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel on the front. The rear will have a flash, autofocus, HDR support and face recognition, as well as the ability to capture 4K videos, according the the leaked benchmark.
The operating system of Chiron will be Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 user interface. The phone supports NFC technology, but a heart rate monitor isn’t included in the smartphone, according to GFXBench. There is no information when we can expect the premiere of the device.
Based on the specs revealed by GFXBench, the Xiaomi Chiron could be the Mi 6 Plus which was long rumored, but never released.http://gizbrain.com/2017/09/18/xiaomi-chiron-gfxbench-snapdragon-835-specs/https://i1.wp.com/gizbrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/xiaomi-mi-mix2.jpg?fit=1200%2C718https://i1.wp.com/gizbrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/xiaomi-mi-mix2.jpg?fit=210%2C126LEAKSRUMORSTECH NEWSXIAOMIAndroid,GFXBench, leaks,MIUI,MIUI 9,rumors,smartphone,Snapdragon 835,xiaomiXiaomi's new smartphone, codenamed Chiron, once again appeared in a benchmark test.
