Millions of fans will see for the first time officially the new iPhone models on September 12, says The Wall Street Journal. According to the media Apple will reveal all three of its phones on that day. Data comes from “anonymous but familiar” with the company’s plans.

The event is likely to take place at the company’s new headquarters, at the Steve Jobs Theater on its new Apple Park campus, according to the story. September 12 was mentioned earlier and and aligns with the traditional early September window Apple has used to announce new iPhones over the past few years.

On this date, we can expect three new models. In addition to the expected iPhone 7S and the bigger 7S Plus, which will likely be similar to last year’s releases, the big star must be the new high-end iPhone 8.

iPhone 8 will be Available in 64 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB Versions

The so-called iPhone 8 — the names are all assumptions at this point — would be a new high-end model rumored to have a large OLED screen covering a nearly bezel-less front face, with an all-new facial recognition feature replacing the Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

It’s expected to be in short supply and carry a price upwards of $1,000 (or roughly converted to £775 for the UK and AU$1,265 for Australia, but would likely be priced even higher).

Color choices will, if KGI Securities analyst — and historically good Apple predictor — Ming-Chi Kuo is to be believed, be limited to silver, gold, and black. Only a few more weeks till we’ll get to watch Tim Cook on a livestream at the Apple’s Event and find out for sure.
