Rumors about the price of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 suggest the shocking $1,000 – $1,100, so if LG wants to be more aggressive to its rival, has to offer LG V30 at a considerably more affordable price.

And the company seems ready to do just that. The latest information around the model says we will first see two versions – the standard LG V30 and LG V30 Plus. Their prices will be $700 and $875 respectively.

Their premiere will take place at the same time and they will be available on the market from September 15 first in South Korea and from September 30 in Germany. The Plus version will have more storage space (128GB vs 64GB) as well as better audio and will feature wireless charging.

Everything else as specifications has to be the same, so in both version you will get Snapdragon 835 chipset, 16MP + 13MP rear camera, OLED Full Vision display, IP68 waterproof certificate and 3200mAh battery.

LG’s Next Flagship To Feature First-Ever OLED FullVision Display

Citing “representatives for mobile network providers” who have been hands-on with the devices, ETNews also said that the V30 series had been lauded for its “outstanding design” and “sense of grip.” This sense of grip was attributed to the devices having “drastically reduced thickness and a smooth screen through minimized bezel.”

It looks like LG really feels confident in its product and is preparing a direct clash with Galaxy Note 8.
