Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be the next big premiere in the smartphone business, but Google Pixel 2 can mark the debut of the most powerful chipset on the market: Qualcomm Snapdragon 836.

Unlike Galaxy Note 8, whose versions will use Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 and Snapdragon 835, the next Google smartphone will obviously be equipped with the newest model in mobile processors.

The Snapdragon 836 is ten percent faster than its predecessor, and is also smaller and brings improvements to the camera’s performance so it will make better shots.

The GPU and CPU frequency of the chips are increased, which will lead to faster processing of information. It is also thought of a longer battery life due to the internal improvement.

The expectation is that Snapdragon 836 will not only be used by Pixel 2, but producers such as Xiaomi and OnePlus will also pick it at a later stage for their future flagship from the end of this year and early of next.
