Apple has just launched a public beta version of MacOS High Sierra. It is available for download, you can test it with all her advantages and disadvantages of its beta character.

Probably the most interesting part of High Sierra is the new APFS file system that replaces HFS+. If you decide to test the new version of the operating system, you will need to install it in a separate partition to keep the existing files and folders unchanged.

“New technologies at the heart of the system make your Mac more reliable, capable, and responsive — and lay the foundation for future innovations. macOS High Sierra also refines the features and apps you use every day. It’s macOS at its highest level yet.”

Other High Sierra features include a Metal 2 graphical API that supports VR and external graphics processors and new HEVC and HEIF graphics and video formats. Other enhancements include improved Safari browser, Photos and Siri.
