The Flyme OS 6 is now available for Samsung Galaxy S7 series from the last year. We have to mention that this software comes officially from Meizu, which uploads it to its own site.

The package is 1252 MB and is currently only available for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge. The software (Flyme 6.7.6.22R) is still in beta, the company said.

Flyme OS 6 was first introduced with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but Meizu is expected to offer an update to Android 7.0 Nougat soon. This means that if you install this software, the Android version will be automatically downgrade to 6.0 Marshmallow.

What is Flyme OS?

Flyme OS 6 is develop by Meizu, it is just another Android based custom look designed for it’s devices. Multiple vendors have unique custom look for their devices like, Samsung has TouchWiz interface, Xiaomi has MIUI and Huawei comes with EMUI.

Meizu devices have Flyme OS, being open source for third party developers it can be installed on any device and now can be installed on Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge.
