The dynamics of the smartphone market is deadly and no one wants to lag behind the pace. According to new information from South Korea, LG plans to release its next two top models earlier than expected.

These are the G7 and V30 flagship, whose premieres will be pulled forward. So we should see the LG V30 already in August this year, while the LG G7 will become the first high end model in 2018 with the premiere in January.

Of course, the South Korean company did not comment on these speculations. Her answer is categorical – “nothing has been decided on the new phones’ premieres.” But this does not stop the rumors that both models will have an OLED screen. The LG V30 seems to be powered by Snapdragon 836, while the G7 will work with the next generation Snapdragon 845.

The LG G6 launched early with Snapdragon 821, a platform that’s not as sophisticated as the 835 that’s now powers most of flagships.

Again, we could see LG launching at CES 2018 to be a step ahead of Samsung. Of course, we’re a long way from these dates at the moment and there’s plenty that could change in the meantime.
