Samsung is working on the Active version of its popular Galaxy S8 flagship, it was confirmed by the GeekBench.

The test which shows the model SM-G892A, which achieves 1842 points in single-core and 6394 in multi-core tests.

The Korean smartphone will run on the Snapdragon 835 processor and will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat.

Galaxy S8 Active is behind Samsung Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Mi 6 according to GeekBench stats. It scored equally with HTC U11 and Galaxy S8+ and was ahead of Sony Xperia XZ Premium. All the above mentioned smartphones are running Qualcomm’s latest SoC the Snapdragon 835.

It is assumed that the Galaxy S8 Active will have the same hardware specifications as the basic S8. Interestingly, the curved display will be removed.
