The famous Twitter user @evleaks has just released several photos, from the successor of Surface Pro 4, which Microsoft prepares. The new model will be called Surface Pro, without a sequential number in the name – the hybrid device is likely to be officially presented at an event in Shanghai scheduled for May 23rd.

Besides a new stylus and keyboard colors, there is not much to comment as changes and innovations. Interestingly, however, is the lack of a USB-C port, just like the Surface Laptop announced a few weeks ago. Surprisingly it seems that Microsoft still don’t want to use the new standard for ports.

However, the new Surface Pro will almost certainly be upgraded to the newest Intel Kaby Lake processor, which should increase the device’s battery life and provide hardware support for 4K video decoding—but beyond that, it’s sounding like this will be a fairly minor refresh.
