The financial troubles for HTC continue. The company publishes its monthly earnings for April this year, confirming once again that the results are not bright. This time, revenue of $155 million is reported, decline 9.29% from March. On an annual basis, the decline is 18.03%.

For the first four months of 2017, the company generated $635 million in revenue, which is again decline from January-April 2016 by (6.45%) then the Taiwanese reported $676 million.

The financial results of the former Taiwanese glory in the smartphone world in general tell us that the sales of the new HTC U Ultra and HTC u Play phones are not particularly good. Some experts speculate that “maybe” the fans are waiting for the upcoming flagship HTC U 11 which will be released on May 16th.

We expect HTC’s new flagship to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chip, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and Android 7.1.1 operating system. The display will be 5.5-inch with Quad HD resolution.

The HTC U 11 will also offer a 12-megapixel main and 16-megapixel front camera. Other good features include IP57 waterproof, HTC BoomSound, fingerprint scanner and QuickCharge 3.0.
