We recently learned that Fitbit was planning to present its smartwatch as early as this spring, but the company has encountered difficulties with the production process. While we are still waiting for the official date of the smartwatch, today we can see a few of leaked photos showing the device itself.

The smartwatch, codenamed Higgs, will have a built-in GPS, heart rate monitor, will support music services like Pandora and mobile payments. More importantly, Fitbit will offer four days of battery life on a single charge. Will be made of one piece of aluminum. It will cost about $300 when it is released in autumn.

Software-wise, it sounds like Fitbit will continue sticking with its own OS, instead of jumping aboard the Android Wear bandwagon. Unfortunately, it likely won’t have an app store at launch. Instead, you can expect a few customized apps for the device.

Fitbit also plans to release a pair of Bluetooth headphones, code-named Parkside. You will be able to carry them on your neck like Apple’s BeatsX. The Fitbit Bluetooth headphones will be available in two color options, Nightfall Blue and Lunar Gray, and will cost $150. They will be released the same time as the the smartwatch. Source: Yahoo Finance
