The new flagship LG G6 is a great phone, but if you thought it was too big or too expensive, you might soon have a second chance in the form of its smaller version. Since the LG G4, all the flagships of the company have received some sort of so-called Mini-versions – respectively LG G4c and LG G5 mini.

In the spirit of this tradition, it looks like the new model will preserve the look and feel of the same 18:9 aspect ratio as the LG G6, but will have a smaller 5.4-inch display. Beyond that, it is unclear whether this version of the LG G6 will retain the same flagship hardware or the parameters will be downgraded, as is often the case for mini models.

It is also not certain when the new model will appear and on which markets will be offered, but it is likely that such a phone would be targeting developing countries where the prices of flagships make them inaccessible to a large part of the population.

Not that the LG G6 is big by any means, but if the Mini was made available, for a cheaper price, would you be interested?
