We already know that HMD Global plans to launch three new smartphones with Android the Nokia 3, 5 and 6 – and a new version of the classic Nokia 3310 in over 120 markets around the world later this year. Now we learn that if recent rumors are true, their premiere will not late much.

The information comes from Chinese media and refers specifically to the premiere dates of phones in Malaysia. It seems that the unexpected favorite at MWC 2017, Nokia 3310 should appear at the end of this month, while the Android phones in May, as follows: Nokia 3 will be released early this month, Nokia 5 in the middle, and the international premiere of Nokia 6 will be in late May.

This information is confirmed and by the English store Clove Technology which indicated that it would begin to sell three Android models in late May and early June. We reminds you that Nokia 3310 will not be sold in United States, at least not at this early stage. The reason is that 2G network in the country soon will not exist.

Telecommunication carriers are beginning to retire their 2G network towers, with more towers being shut down each month. By January 2017, AT&T’s 2G network will be fully retired and Verizon’s 2G and 3G CDMA networks by 2021 in favor of their faster 3G and 4G networks.
