New York will pay you $2,000 if you buy an Electric Car
Believe it or not, New York has not yet offered a financial incentive for the purchase of environmentally friendly cars. While over three quarters of the states have some relief, NY authorize the “federal tax credit.”
Discount program starts April 1 and grant you $2,000 if you buy an electric car or plug-in hybrid. If you buy a car that is also eligible for the federal credit, the discount will be nearly ten thousand of the original price.
Unfortunately, the initiative will be not implemented immediately. April 1 is the deadline to start the program. Management of state quite clearly delayed the announcing of it until the last minute and the staff of the Development Agency still not finessed the details of the rebate.
However, this innovation can be crucial, as long as goes according to plan. New York is one of the largest potential markets for electric cars along with California, and additional stimulus is important for affordability of Chevy Bolt, Tesla Model 3 and other future electric cars. This is particularly important for Model 3, whose pre-orders are enough that it can not get federal loan if you order relatively late.http://gizbrain.com/2017/03/07/new-york-will-pay-2000-buy-electric-car/https://i1.wp.com/gizbrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/BMW-i3-donated-to-NYC.jpg?fit=1200%2C765https://i1.wp.com/gizbrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/BMW-i3-donated-to-NYC.jpg?fit=190%2C150TECH NEWScars,Electric Car,electromobile,New York CityBelieve it or not, New York has not yet offered a financial incentive for the purchase of environmentally friendly cars.
