After this week leaked information about the special application of Samsung, called Secure Folder, the company make it available officially. It serves as an encrypted space for consumers who may store personal things – notes, photos, contacts, applications or documents – to which no one else has access.

The application uses the protective functions of Samsung Knox lock files in the phone. These files are accessible only by password or biometric methods such as fingerprint.

The feature was first launched for Galaxy Note 7, then became available for international version of the Galaxy A series. The only requirement to use the tool is to have installed Android 7.0 Nougat. The app can be downloaded from Galaxy Apps.
