The popular smartphone company Xiaomi can show its first processors this month, according to data coming from China. The Chinese company sent invitations for media event which will be held on February 28, during which is likely to announce its own chips for smartphones Pinecone from primary and secondary level.

Xiaomi is working on two chips Pinecone – V670 and V790 through its subsidiary Beijing Pinecone Electronics, which was created jointly with Leadcore Technology in 2014, is expected at the event to debut the processor V670.

The chip has four high frequency cores Cortex-A53 and four Cortex-A53 with low power consumption, working in tandem with the GPU ARM Mali-T860 MP2. The processor is made on 28nm technology.

The eght-core V970 will have four cores Cortex-A73 and four Cortex -A53 and graphic chip Mali G71 MP12. The chip will rely on 10-nm process, thanks to a partnership with Pinecone Samsung, and will be ready by the end of 2017.

At the event is also expected Xiaomi to announce a new entry-level smartphone with  5.5-inch display, 13 MP main camera and 8 MP front camera the price will be around $190.
