Apple confirmed that Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2017) will take place on Monday, June 5 – Friday, June 9 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. Actually this is the first time since 2002 when the WWDC will be held in San Jose. In recent years, the event was held in San Francisco.

The head of marketing Phil Schiller told The Loop, that San Jose is near the headquarters of Apple and will offer “a great atmosphere for developers.” Schiller said he expects WWDC 2017 to be the same size as before – about 5,000 developers and 1,000 engineers.

“Technology alone is not enough. Technology must intersect with the liberal arts and the humanities, to create new ideas and experiences that push society forward. This summer we bring together thousands of brilliant minds representing many diverse perspectives, passions, and talents to help us change the world.” Says the invitation to the event.

Tickets will be sold at a price of $1,599, they will be awarded on a lottery basis, and only this who win will pay. WWDC is a conference where traditionally Apple unveils the latest versions of its software platforms such as iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS.

It would be presented iOS 11, macOS 10.13, tvOS 11 and watch OS 4. The main presentation of the conference will be broadcast live for all users of the Apple devices.
