SuperData: 6.3 million VR headset were sold in 2016
The VR technology’s was the latest trend in 2016, according to research firm Super Data and support of this are clear – last year was sold 6.3 million headsets of virtual reality.

The breakdown shows that was sold 4.5 million Gear VR headset, while the second is PlayStation VR, whose sales approaching one million units. In turn, this leaves about one million sales that are divided between Oculus, Google and HTC.
