Motorola Moto G5 and G5 Plus definitely will be the new stars of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month. Now the standard version has passed through the process of approval of the US Telecommunications Commission FCC, which revealed some of its specifications.

One of the interesting news is the presence of Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. This is the first time that we see NFC in the series G (not counting some regional versions of Moto G4 Play).

FCC also revealed that the capacity of the battery will be 3000 mAh, which will be 100 mAh less than the Plus version. The other hardware features include a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 16 GB of internal memory and a 13-megapixel main and 5-megapixel front camera.
