Currently Apple restricts video calls through FaceTime only for two people, no matter what device you use. But soon this may change as new rumor coming from the site Verifier, suggesting that the upcoming iOS 11 will unlock the option for group video calls via FaceTime.

The debut on iOS 11 will be on the Worldwide Developers Conference of Apple in June, but, of course, it will be available only for developers as the final version will come in the fall with the debut of the new iPhone model the iPhone 8.

As for group video calls via FaceTime, will be able to participate up to 5 users at once. This will be welcome for people who want to conduct fast and easy video calling between Apple devices without having to use third party software.
