Samsung officially released Android 7.0 Nougat for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
The moment that all owners of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge expect. The moment, which actually lasted a few months to get to this day – the day on which Samsung began distribution of Android 7.0 Nougat for these phones.
The information comes directly from users of the beta program of Samsung, which have begun to receive the final version with size 215 MB. The update will most likely be a larger amount for the people that are not registered as beta testers. Unfortunately we still can’t say with certainty exactly when the update will come for everyone else, but the beginning is here.
The latest update brings over 20 new features and visual changes but most of them did bot come from Nougat, they are added by Samsung. Among them is the ability to manually change the screen resolution, which will reduce the workload on the graphics chip, putting applications in Sleep mode will spare battery and the overall view of the software is more user friendly and clean.
Android 7.0 Nougat officially debuted on August 22, although beta testing began at the end of March. Among the new features is a split screen to work with two applications simultaneously, faster updates, many new emoji icons, Data Saver feature to limit the mobile Internet and more.
The new operating system supports Vulkan API, better management of battery consumption and picture-in-picture function, and significant changes in the menus for quick and basic settings.http://gizbrain.com/2017/01/12/samsung-officially-released-android-7-0-nougat-galaxy-s7-s7-edge/https://i1.wp.com/gizbrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/samsung-galaxy-s7-and-s7-edge.jpg?fit=870%2C582https://i1.wp.com/gizbrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/samsung-galaxy-s7-and-s7-edge.jpg?fit=190%2C150SAMSUNGTECH NEWSAndroid,Android 7.0,Android Nougat,Galaxy,Galaxy S7,Galaxy S7 Edge,Samsung, smartphone, updateThe moment that all owners of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge expect.
