Netflix

The first customers who subscribe Netflix’s before the streaming service to become so popular in recent months enjoyed a subscription of $7.99, but in May this amount will jump to $9.99 to catch up with the price rise, Netflix introduced for new customers last year.

Currently about 37% of the company’s users – or 17 million people – still enjoy discounts on subscriptions, which means that millions of people will have to start paying more for the same services from next month.

To try to compensate for this increase, Netflix will provide greater and more interesting content. The ambitious plan of the company includes placing new seasons of hit TV shows such as Orange is the New Black, Jessica Jones and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Of course, all these productions cost money, so it’s not surprising that the company seeks to increase the fees.

The interesting thing here is that according to a new study of the Time as 80% of those affected by the change Netflix’s subscribers still have no idea that the prices they pay will soon increase.
