This is the idea behind the glove Manus VR, which allow you to perform physical movements with your hands and control virtual objects.

Manus VR gloves are compatible with HTC Vive and they benefit from Lighthouse technology of Valve for position tracking. They are also wireless and washable. Also allow you to place Vive controllers on your wrist.

Developers from Manus VR will prepare sets of gloves for pre-order in the coming weeks. These will include a vibrating motor to program different levels of tactile feedback, as well as batteries that can last up to 8 hours when fully charged.

From Manus say that they will be compatible not only with computer games, but with Google Cardboard and Samsung Gear VR glasses. Will be available and SDK development kit.

Manus VR kit is expected to begin shipping in Q3 of 2016, and the price will be $250. Of course, you’ll need to get with the HTC Vive, which costs $799. Manus will be demonstrating its VR gloves at the Game Developers Conference which begins on March 14 in San Francisco.
