The photographer Jeffrey Martin made one of the highest-quality 360-degree photo of New York. His picture have the stunning resolution of 203,200 x 101,600 pixels or 20 gigapixels making it the biggest picture of New York even taken.

Impressive is that you can see even the most distant building with extremely high quality. If you print the image at the standard resolution of 300 DPI, image size would be 18 meters wide and 9 meters high.

Using a standard Canon 5Dsr camera with a 135mm lens, Martin said the images took four hours in total to collect.

‘I discovered panoramic photography in the year 2000 after getting my first digital camera (a canon digital elph) which came with its own primitive panorama stitching software,’ he said.
