Samsung announced the new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge as water resistant and they can withstand 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 meters, and from T-Mobile decided to check if this is true.

Besides its water resistant and able to make some interesting photos and videos underwater, Galaxy S7 has 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 processor or  Exynos 8990, video-accelerator Adreno 530 or Mali-T880 MP12.

The internal memory is 32GB or 64GB, this time can be increased via a microSD card.

The back camera has 12 MP and has an f/1.7 aperture and 26mm lens, as well as new technology, increasing quality and make HDR video the resolution are impressive – clips can be in the format 2160p @ 30fps, 1080p @ 60fps or 720p @ 240fps.

The front camera is 5 MP, f/1.7 with aperture and 22mm lens, it has Auto HDR mode.

Focusing is also improved significantly as the company has decided to include technology DualPixel to use the entire surface of the sensor for focusing.

The new models of the series Galaxy S7 are acquired with larger batteries that can not be removed – 3600mAh in Galaxy S7 Eedge and 3000mAh in Galaxy S7. Quick Charge 3.0 technology enables device to be recharged up to 83% in just 30 minutes.

Besides battery other major difference between the two phones is their size.

Galaxy S7 retains 5.1 inches with Super AMOLED screen and the Galaxy S7 edge has a 5.5-inch display with curved sides.

Both, however, are equipped with Always-on technology which shows useful information without the need for activation of the screen. Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
