Legal battle between Apple and the FBI to provide access to data on one iPhone 5c, used by terrorist continues unabated, and now it became clear that Apple has hired a legendary lawyer to help them win. His name is Theodore Olson.

Olson and Theodore J. Boutrous Jr. representing Apple in their legal battle that may be brought until the Supreme Court. Both lawyers have worked together in the fight against California’s Prop 8, which banned gay marriage.

Olson is known for winning the case of George Bush in the Supreme Court against Al Gore, which decided the presidential election in 2000.

Apple has time until February 26 to file its appeal to the federal court for the order that the company should unlock iPhone 5c, which was used by one of the terrorists San Bernandino.

Tim Cook, meanwhile, published an open letter on the Apple’s website refusing to intentionally weaken the iPhone’s security. More details on Apple’s legal defense will likely be revealed in one week when it files its response.
