Microsoft announced a new smartphone with Windows 10 Mobile, which is named Lumia 650 and is designed mainly for business users.

We start to talk about this new device with the mobile version of Windows in January and now it seems that the rumors were true. So the new Lumia 650 joins the Lumia 950, Lumia 950 and Lumia 550 XL and stands in the center of the price segment.

Although not essentially flagship, the new phone to Microsoft is aimed primarily at business users who need a reliable device performance. The company itself advertises the model as a “smart choice for your business.”

Furthermore, the design of the Microsoft Lumia 650 looks quite attractive and even overshadows Lumia 950. Lumia 650 is equipped with a metal frame that gives overall, better look and feel of the device.

“The Lumia 650 fits perfectly into the enterprise with built-in support for Microsoft business applications, new third party Universal Windows Applications like Uber, and one click setup of common everyday tools like Office 365. It also allows IT to test the latest Windows 10 Mobile updates against critical line of business systems and apps, before you distribute to end users via MDM.” Says Microsoft.

In terms of technical specification we have a combination of 5-inch OLED display with 720p resolution, 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP wide-angle front camera and processor Snapdragon 212.

The available storage space is 16 GB, and there is microSD card slot. The phone battery can be removed. The phone is thin (6.9 mm) and weight (122 grams).

Lumia 650 will hit the European market on 18 February at an affordable price – $199.
