Samsung patented “Always On Display” mode for Galaxy S7
Samsung has filed for a patent for the term “Always On Display”, which implies that this feature will be present in the new flagship of the company Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
Recently, information was confirmed and the new smartphone will have the mode “always on display,” probably to display time and some other notifications.
Super AMOLED screens consume power depending on how many pixels are active. This could be used from Samsung to display information such as time, date, messages, news, calendar and other updates without to use a lot battery power.
