watchOS-2.2-maps

The upcoming update of WatchOS will bring some significant improvements in Maps app for Apple Watch. At the moment when you open the app you can see your location on a map, then by touch the screen with Force Touch you can access more navigation options, reserved addresses and search.

The new version of Maps will include more capabilities to discover places and the function Nearby, that allows search for your nearest businesses and public places. Locations are divided into categories such as food, shopping, transport, services, health, and each has subcategories for fine filtering of results.

In the application you can see the navigation to any location, rating, time and contact information. To reach previously saved address is also easier – the home screen map has hotkeys to start navigation to your home or office. Search for address is also more easy and access to it no longer requires Force Touch.
