Just a few days after Nikon unveiled its 360-degree camera at CES 2016 in Las Vegas, GoPro seems ready to do the same. During the presentation at CES, Nick Woodman (GoPro CEO) said the company plans to release a spherical camera very soon.

GoPro introduced two spherical platforms earlier this year that are able to capture video in 360 degrees and 3D, but they are too expensive for the general public and are more focused on the professional sector.

The company is also working on its own quadcopter, which is also rumored that can shoot video in 360 degrees. We hope GoPro will surprise us very soon with good news.
