Fossil introduced its line of smart watches, called Fossil Q, in the autumn, but now at CES 2016 the company expanded its portfolio with another model. The new Q54 Pilot is an analog smartwatch with Intel technology for basic notifications received by smartphone and the ability to track physical activity. It is similar to the previously presented Q Grant, but with a different design aesthetics.

Like Q Grant, Q54 Pilot uses the same design of the case, standing to the traditional analog watches from Fossil. It can connect with iOS or Android devices and can track your steps or to send you messages which you will received on your smartphone. Of course is not capable as an Android Wear watch, Apple Watch or even Pebble – i.e. Q54 Pilot don’t have screen for reading messages, viewing notifications, control music or using applications.

Fossil update its application for smartphones that enables intelligent functions in the Q line – there is now better accountability of physical activity, adaptive models for vibration and more notifications from some applications. The company also introduced more hand straps that will be compatible with Q-line and new coatings for its Q Dreamer. Q54 Pilot will be available in early spring and will cost between $175 and $215, depending on the choice of strap.
