Snapdragon-Flight-at-CES-2016

Several months ago, Qualcomm announced that it will make a special version of their mobile processor Snapdragon, which will be intended for use in drones and promises to make them cheaper, smarter and with lower power consumption.

The debut of the Snapdragon Flight is expected this year, and meanwhile the US company published a video which demonstrates some of the capabilities of the platform.

It shows how flying drones will be able to avoid obstacles and create three-dimensional map of everything around them to move freely. More details about Snapdragon Flight expect next week at CES in Las Vegas.
