Windows 10 made its official premiere almost 10 months ago, and is already installed on nearly 10% of all personal computers (9.96% in December). The data come from the research company Net Applications, which announce that the operating system marks a jump of 1% compared to November. In the period from October to November, Windows 10 was able to raise its presence by 1.06%, which shows slightly slowing its spread.

Windows 7 remains the most popular Microsoft operating system with almost 56% market share. Windows XP remains in second position with 10.93%, and Windows 8.1 is third with 10.3%. Among the older versions of Windows 8 we find (2.76%) and Vista (1.62%).

It is interesting that all versions without Windows 10 recorded a fall in rates. If we look more generally the situation in the operating systems for the PC in December, Windows have 91.3% of the market share, which is 0.07% less than in November. Mac and Linux are respectively with 7.02% and 1.66% market share.
