Windows-10-Mobile

Several months ago, Microsoft promised that the version of the platform for smartphones will be released by the end of 2016 as an upgrade for existing devices with Windows Phone 8 and 8.1, many of which are Lumia series. However, the update will be delayed further.

Microsoft should be ready with Windows 10 Mobile in early 2016, but the company does not give a precise time-frame, giving tolerance of the company at least to March. Still there is no official confirmation which smartphones will receive the updates: one of the important requirements is the presence of at least 8 GB of internal memory, which leaves Lumia 530 out of the list.

Currently the new models Lumia 950 and 950XL are working precisely with the latest version of the operating system. Recall that updates on Windows Mobile will become more frequent after the release of version 10. The company aims to update Windows on all platforms simultaneously.
