Google released the traditional video Year in Search 2015, which shows which are the things we search most in the past year. This is a look back at 2015 and all of the most searched topics worldwide. So let’s see which are the most hot topics this year!

As you might guess, the number one topic in the world this year were recent terrorist attacks in Paris. Many people have used Google search engine to find information about what is happening in the French capital (897 million requests).

In the field of entertainment you might think that most people are looking for something connected with the film series Star Wars (155 million requests), but this topic is not the most interesting for the people. In fact most search queries was for 87th Oscars (406 million requests).

In the field of sports most searched topic was for the Rugby World Cup (246 million requests). Another highly search subject is the discovery of water on Mars (10 million requests).
