Currently MotoBot rely on training wheels that stand apart from the bike and help him not to fall to one side at a sharp turns or bumps in the road. For his invention Yamaha say:

“We want to implement the technology and what we have learn from the development of this challenge to create high-tech security systems for Motorcycle drivers. Then we want to implement them in their current products as well as new and future.”

Promotional video, presented by Yamaha, shows how MotoBot manage the motorcycle completely alone – accelerating, changing speeds, turns and keep balance on modified for the needs motorcycle. This technology will continues to develop, so there is much more to expect.
