As we wrote last week, Google has officially launched its YouTube Red subscription service offering fans to access to YouTube videos without ads, with the possibility of viewing offline, playing in the background for $9.99 a month. In addition, all subscribers of Google Play Music will have access to YouTube Red for free.

Google indicated that all the videos on YouTube, which now require some kind of payment, such as movies or TV shows and other TV channels are not covered by Red service on YouTube. However, the company plans to release a series of videos that will be available only in YouTube Red since the beginning of 2016.

Unfortunately YouTube Red today launched in the US and when you visit the official website of the service will be greeted by an inscription “YouTube Red is currently not available in Your Country.” If you live in the US you can try the service for 30-day free period. YouTube Red can be used on desktop computers, TVs and mobile devices that are logged with your profile.
