OnePlus-X

We already know, almost all specifications of the new “Budget Killer” OnePlus X which leaked several times during the past month. But now we can confirm the high quality materials used by the OnePlus in production of the smartphone. The new smartphone has a 5-inch display, so far all the models of the company bet on 5.5-inch diagonal. Probably the design of the OnePlus X will be one of the big pluses against its competitors in its class. There will be two versions called Onyx and Ceramic. The second will be in limited quantities. Onyx is made of glass and metal frame – nothing new, but always nice combination.

The ceramic model is a more interesting version, and will resist of scratches. The hardness of the material used is 8.5H – it’s just between topaz and corundum. After them on hardness is only the diamond. Similar hardness of the material is not easily achieved.
Тhe material must be heated to 1482 degrees and then cools two days and then must be seriously polishing to acquire friendly and shiny appearance. The Chinese manufacturer is not ignored and the profiles of the frame made of embossed anodized metal. And to end the topic of design will only add the physical parameters for the Onyx version – 140 x 69 x 6.9 mm and weight 138 g. And the Ceramic version – 160 g.

Now let’s pay attention to the hardware. OnePlus X has 5 inch AMOLED display with resolution – 1080p Full HD, 441 PPI. “Under the hood” is a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, accompanied by 3 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal space. There is also a microSD card slot. Although the processor is from last year, should handle more than decent with its obligations. The main camera of OnePlus X is 13-megapixel (unfortunately only shoots Full HD video and the size of the aperture is f/2.2), while on the front panel is 8-megapixel sensor f/2.4, which should be able to capture decent selfie pictures. The operating system is OxygenOS based on Android 5.1.1, a battery capacity is 2525 mAh. OnePlus X will be available starting November 5. And in good old spirit of OnePlus orders will be made through the special invite system.
