Samsung Pay reached 1 million users in South Korea
Samsung has announced that the new mobile payment service Samsung Pay has reached 1 million subscribers in South Korea, reports the Korea Times. In September it became clear that Samsung has taken into account 500,000 new subscribers to Samsung Pay. This means one thing – a great success for the new service of Koreans, which started in August in their homeland.
“Based on Samsung Pay subscribers is growing very quickly,” said a spokesman for Samsung Electronics. “We continue to offer better services to the development of more convenient, user-friendly functions and promoting events offering payment service.” Samsung Pay launched in the US with the support of the major mobile operators in the country.
