After rumors of mass layoffs at Twitter, Jack Dorsey last week confirmed that it will indeed be one of his first big moves as new (old) CEO of the company.

The number of employees who will be laid off, could reach 336 people, or approximately 8% of the current number of 4,200 people workforce.

“The restructuring is part of the overall plan for the organization of product priorities of the company and enhance efficiency. The company intends to reinvest the savings in the most important priorities to stimulate growth” – says Jack Dorsey.

Dorsey focuses on optimizing and reducing costs – things that will help him more easily focus on clear goals. “The road map is a plan to change the way we work and how we have do this job”.
