Motorola publishes its list of devices that will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow
Android 6.0 Marshmallow will officially make its debut next week when will come to the Nexus line devices of Google. HTC has already announced which devices will receive the new version of Android, and now it is time for Motorola to do it.
This are the Motorola devices that will receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow:
• 2015 Moto X Pure Edition (third generation)
• 2015 Moto X Style (third generation)
• 2015 Moto X Play
• 2015 Moto G (third generation)
• 2014 Moto X Pure Edition in the US (second generation)
• 2014 Moto X in Latin America, Europe and Asia (second generation)
• 2014 Moto G and Moto G to 4G LTE (second generation)
• Motorola DROID Turbo
• 2014 Moto MAXX
• 2014 Moto Turbo
You might have noticed that the budget smartphones Moto E are not included in the list or the first generation Moto G and Moto X. While the first generation of Moto G and Moto X are considered too old to be updated in So far, the second generation of Moto E is only a few months. Motorola gave no information on the timetable of obtaining updates for devices listed above, but it should become clear in the coming weeks.
