Apple will release the new version of the desktop operating system OS X today for all users.

OS X El Capitan was presented in June at the World Conference WWDC developers and the whole summer is in the hands of public beta testers and developers.

Apple continues with the tradition that established by OS X Mavericks, and will offer El Capitan as a free update for all Mac users.

“People like to use their Mac computers and one of the biggest reasons for that is the power and ease of working with OS X”, said Vice President of Apple Craig Federighi in a press release distributed to the media. The update can be downloaded from the Mac App Store.
