Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus recently become available, but users have begun to complain about several troubling problem. From the first days of the new models, some owners have reported overheating. The problem happens without reason and notice when using the camera.

Upon opening the app for taking pictures is displayed message “Flash is Disabled” and a warning that the device must be cooled before it can be used.

Some users have reported the iPhone 6s is feel much hotter than previous models. The phone can reach temperatures of up to 102 degrees Fahrenheit, significantly higher than the average temperature of around 90 degrees Fahrenheit for other phones.

Smartphones overheating problems aren’t new. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 CPU was very criticized earlier this year for overheating issues that prevented some Android smartphone makers from using this chip.

It is still too early to say whether there is a problem with certain batches or cause is a software bug.
