On September 16, Apple released an update to iOS 9 for the first 24 hours the new version of the mobile operating system was installed on 12% of compatible iOS devices, according to data from Mixpanel.

Although to be updated to iOS 9 need less memory, it decreased compared to last year, when for the same period iOS 8 was installed on 16% of devices. Perhaps this is due to problems some users have encountered with the release of the software.

Mixpanel reported that installing iOS 9 for the first day has proceeded in much the same way as iOS 8, but neither of the two versions is not achieved success of iOS 7, which was 20% of the devices for the first 24 hours after launch.

Expected rates to increase after the release of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, entering the market next Friday, as they come pre-loaded with iOS 9. At the moment iOS 9 has been installed on 21% of the devices.
