In iOS 9 Siri will learn to recognize your voice
iOS 9 will be released on 16 September, but the test of the mobile operating system has already received a public beta to version 9.1. With this update comes a new feature in the voice assistant of Apple.
We know that Siri can be call in command “Hey Siri”, but in iOS 9.1 seems she will be able to recognize the user’s voice and whether he is the owner of the iPhone. So if someone says “Hey Siri”, and he is not the owner of the phone Siri will not answer.
The new feature is located in Settings, as follows: General -> Siri -> Allow “Hey Siri”. Once you choose this option you will go through the process from five steps by which Siri will learn to recognize your voice – you will be asked three times to say “Hey Siri”, and then repeat two additional commands “Hey, Siri, what’s the weather today? “and” Hey, Siri, it’s me “. All this should take you less than a minute.
This is not the only improvement that Siri gets. In announcing on iOS 9 Apple revealed that the assistant is has another new function named Proactive, which will provide more intuitive offering information that you may need based on your habits, your location and time.
