Google’s Android Pay mobile payments now available in US
Expectations were that Android Pay, the mobile payment system from Google, for the consumer will premiere on September 16, but it actually happened earlier. Of late night service is available to users in the US and we expect more widespread in the coming months. Features of Android Pay is that users can made payments only by phone. In the coming months it is expected the service to be enriched with more features and support for more banks.
Currently Android Pay works with all smartphones with Android (KitKat version and higher) also need to have NFC functionality, and with any mobile operator in the US. US users can add debit or credit cards from American Express, Discover, Visa and Mastercard. To be the level of protection higher, Google does not send the card number with the transaction, and will rely on virtual number. At the moment when the consumer makes a purchase, he will immediately receive information about her. At the end of the year Android Pay can be used for purchases in applications. Users who already use Google Wallet, will have access to the service after installing the latest version of the application.
