Samsung Gear S2 will receive support for iPhone?
The new smart watch Samsung Gear S2 has been launched at IFA 2015 and we clearly showed it with information about his characteristics. Unlike the first generation he didn’t work with Android Wear, but with its own developed from Samsung Tizen OS. Now we learn that the company is studying the possibility to make his Gear S2 compatible with iPhone. It follows the course of Google, who made Android Wear devices compatible with the iPhone.
While still no official position of the Korean company, according to the media opportunity to work with the iPhone has be considered very carefully. Samsung has surprised many with the news that Gear S2 will support not only Galaxy devices, but all the other running Android 4.4 or later. “We look at opportunities to open Tizen for IOS”, says official representative from Samsung. There is no information when this iPhone compatibility could become a reality.
