After the arrest of two children publish content related to Popcorn Time, legal action against streaming service torrents continue. Millennium Films, the studio behind the action franchise The Expendables, already filed several lawsuits against users of using the torrents. Millennium Films sued 16 people who used the Popcorn Time, to download and distribute illegal copies of the movie Survivor.

Production company representing Millennium Films has tracked IP addresses of pirates group in Oregon and requests information on their exact names and residence of the local court. Representative from Popcorn Time commented that it was saddened by the fact that movie studios has legal actions to the “little people” in the face of the end users of the service.
