Today, all fans of the series Mortal Kombat, owners of consoles from the previous generation, receive unpleasant news – Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment announced that the tenth edition of the series will not come to their consoles.

“After months of extensive work, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment reached the sad conclusion that it could not release Mortal Kombat X for PlayStation 3 and Xbox One”, wrote the studio officially. “Our team worked tirelessly to achieve the same high quality games, which can enjoy the owners of consoles last generation. In versions for Xbox 360 and PS3 we failed to achieve the level expected of Mortal Kombat game. Accept our sincere apologies that we failed to deliver products on schedule.” Users who pre-order the game for Xbox 360 and PS3, can now get their money back.

Recall that the version of the previous generation of consoles had to come up with these for Xbox One, PS4 and PC in April. Shortly before the premiere of Warner Bros. delayed version for older consoles this summer, then – for the fall.
